No one is safe during this season of The CW’s smash apocalyptic dystopian drama The 100. At least that’s the warning issued by Devon Bostick, who plays Jasper on the show. Any character, and the actor who plays him or her, could be a casualty.
Gasp!
“There’s going to be a lot of Mount Weather madness coming up. Things are about become unraveled and there’s some crazy experiments going on,” Bostick told E!. “It’s a life and death situation and there’s a lot of stakes involved. If Jasper doesn’t do the experiment, something bad could happen. But I don’t want to spoil anything!”
Oh, yes, he went there. While he wouldn’t reveal the exact nature of these “experiments” and kept his secret-spilling vague, Bostick did say that things will be “scary” and “exciting.”
And there will be blood.
Is that some sort of a hint that Jasper himself will be the next to go? You never know, since the actor admitted that pretty much anything is possible.
“You should be worried for everyone,” Bostick confessed coyly. “Literally everyone. I can’t say who, and I know we have a lot of redshirts, but there will be some really shocking deaths this season.”
Well, that doesn’t bode well for job security, with Bostick admitting, “It’s scary as an actor. There’s going to be more deaths and it will be heartbreaking and just insane.”

But his own paycheck and gig are hardly the actor’s sole concerns. He has the show’s diehard fans on his mind, as well, noting that they will be put through the ringer and that their emotions will be toyed with.
He admitted, “I’m kind of worried for the fans. Don’t get attached to any character because things are going to go down.”

Bostick did admit that his character’s relationship with Eve Harlow’s Maya “is going to continue to blossom,” noting that “it’s interesting because we’re finding out some pretty horrific things about her people. But she’s been so nice and kind and in this next episode we’re going to see how much he really cares about her.”

Okay so at least he hinted that Jasper will have some more time with Maya so perhaps he won’t be one of the first to go. Whew…we think.
