Devon Bostick’s character Jasper on The 100 has found the girl of his dreams. But will he land her while he’s on Earth? That’s one of the big questions.
We chatted with Devon about what we need to know about Jasper before the series premieres March 19 on The CW. First thing’s first, he’s in love with Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos).
“Since Jasper saw her in space way back, he’s always had his eye on her, but he’s kind of off her radar a little bit so he has to work for her attention,” Devon said. “But hopefully Jasper’s going to get the girl of his dreams. There are a lot of good-looking people here on earth and Jasper’s just one of a hundred. Octavia, she’s a free soul, and she just wants to be experimenting, and that kind of hurts Jasper’s heart a little.”
Devon also teased us by saying that trouble could come from his crush on Octavia. “He is a good-hearted courageous nerd who always throws himself in danger for the love of his life,” he reveals.
We can only imagine what obstacles will come their way. After all, the species survival is in the hands of a bunch of hormonal juvenile delinquents. Nothing can go wrong, right? Right?!
“They expected us to save the world, but we’re kids,” Devon says. “You know, young love. There’s nothing stronger than that.”
